SUSAN Business network to launch in 2011 by HITA (Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency) Main goal: to boost trade and investment links between Hungary and the region focusing primarily on SME’s The network provides following services for the members: Members receive invitations to all related business events managed in the framework of SUSAN: sectoral / sub-sectoral, regional / sub-regional web / video conferences, workshops and business meetings ( annually 3 – 4 events are scheduled) Members can continuously send offers and requests for partner seeking and matching through the network

SUSAN The business network’s structure: an network comprising on the one hand Hungarian companies, enterpreneurs, organisations and institutions interested in the Sub-Saharan region, on the other hand members of the respective Country Business Forums (e.g.: South Africa – Hungary Business Forum), i.e. local African companies, ventures, enterpreneurs and organisations interested in Hungary and the surrounding region Lead manager for SUSAN: HITA / HITA Representative in Pretoria; main tasks: network recruitment and registration; continuous partner matching service; network’s annual agenda; management and programming of business events and meetings Co-lead managers for the Country Business Forums: HITA / HITA Representative in Pretoria and relevant interested national business promotion organisations, institutions and chambers; main tasks: assistance in members’ recruitment, in the programming and implementation of business events and in the networking, partner matching services Sponsors: interested institutions, companies, private enterpreneurs; main tasks: to facilitate the network’s operation; to contribute to network prizes and awards Membership is gratis, registration by request and further info on the following contact points:
