Christmas now and then  Back in the time Christmas was more about the religious celebration.Families gathered and they celebrated together and they had big dinners on Christmas Eve. It was usual that someone gave a handmade present to another person.

 Nowadays Christmas isn't really about family gatherings and religion, because it has spread around the world and not only Christian people celebrate it. Nowadays Christmas is more about the presents, but it's still usual that families gather but not as it was a long time ago.

Christmas as a marketing opportunity Nowadays the big companies want to make profit out of Christmas. It isn’t really bad, but it takes away the point of Christmas when there are Christmas decorations everywhere in November. It also makes people buy toys for their kids for months.
