 To protect all employees from Respiratory hazards  29 CFR  Veolia Environmental Services Policy  NIOSH standards

 Prior to being issued a respirator  Conducted by a professional medical doctor  Examination is kept confidentially  Duration and frequency of respirator use  Any limitations on respirator use  Medical evaluation kept on file

 Must pass a fit test prior to wearing respirator  Qualitative fit test for half face respirator  Quantitative fit test for full face respirator  Issuance form must be filled out  Positive and Negative fit-check

 Visual inspect respirator prior to use  Cleaned after each use  Stored in a clean and sanitary location  Repairs are made according to manufacture
