Why is so important giving blood?

Blood donation saves millions of lives around the world every year. Donated blood is ready to be used if someone needs it during an operation or because of an accident. The body makes up the lost blood in a few days.

Exercising regularly keeps healthy. Walk, run, swim,... makes the breathing and heart muscles stronger

During the exercise, the muscles need more oxygen and energy. The heart beats faster to give more blood.
