About Taiga’s climates For most of the year the is dark cold and covered in snow and ice. During the short periods of warmth in the spring and summer the days get longer and the snow and ice start to melt.

About the land Sometimes it gets so wet that it forms bogs. The trees that live around the bogs survive well but the ones in the bog cannot survive. There are also many hills and mountains in taiga’s.

Taiga plants Trees dominate the taiga,but taiga forests do not have the lush trees as tropical areas do. Taiga plants have to live in extreme conditions, and only few species are strong enough to survive

Animals in the Taiga In Taiga there is birds, bears,wolves and many more that we can not list. There will be pictures on the next couple slides of animals in the Taiga.
