Lesson #05 Prime Factorization Prime means: A # can only be divided by itself or 1 Example: 13 is prime cuz it’s only divisible evenly by 13 or 1 Factors: Happen when you multiply #’s together. 2 x 3 = 6 … makes 2 and 3 factors of 6 When U multiply the answer is the PRODUCT

What does Product mean? Answer to multiplication. What does Factor mean? #’s being multiplied together

Composite: Has more than 2 factors. Other #’s can go into it evenly besides just itself & 1 A composite number can be written as the product of prime numbers. Prime Factorization the product of prime numbers.
