Project description: Designing and writing your own comic book is a fantastic way to summarize content and be creative at the same time! This comic book can be something that your students work on over the course of the year as an extension or done within a week. As each student completes their comic book, create a library and let your students enjoy reading each others work. Great for open house! Materials needed: 1 large paper bag Survey tape (found in various colors at Home Depot) Scissors Glue Crayon/markers, or colored pencils Templates provided Place your large paper bag on a flat surface. Now fold the bag in half with the bottom flap facing inside. Open the bag up and cut approximately two inches from the edge of each side of the crease. Step 1 Step 2 Bottom flap Instructions for making a Comic Book

Use ribbon, survey tape or yarn to bind the bag into a book. Use glue to apply templates.
