Cover/Title  We learned that geographers ask 2 questions: WHERE things are and WHY are they there. Here’s the cover of Taylor’s book:

5 Themes of Geography  In our studies this year, we are going to apply the 5 themes of geography to multiple areas of the world.  Students created a resource book of their own as a collection of geographic terms.  In the next slide, Taylor defined each of the 5 themes of geography and illustrated that theme with a picture example.

Geographic Terms  After the 5 themes were added, we proceeded to add basic geography vocabulary terms.  These terms will be used throughout the year.  In the next slide, Taylor focused on map skills vocabulary.  These map skills will be focused on throughout the year as well.

Books still in progress….  We should have them complete by the end of next week.  This flip book project will give the students an immediate reference resource to guide them throughout the year.  I’d like to thank Taylor for letting us all see his flip book project. Great job!
