When you have completed the assessment you will be given a summary that describes and explains your personality type David McGuiness

Career Cluster Occupations Majors After reviewing your personality type you will be able to view a list of matching occupations by career families. You can also view a list of college majors associated with those occupations

Read job descriptions, learn necessary skills view activities, and compare potential salaries. Click Here to search colleges with related majors. Click Here to search similar or related occupations

If you have an interest in this career add it to your list of favorite careers and clusters. You can review this list by returning to the home screen and selecting the careers tab.

Review colleges offering majors related to career matches. Click on ones of interest.

Here you can watch videos, review admission information, link to the school’s website, and even begin the application! If you are interested in a school, Click Here to add it to your Colleges I’m Thinking About list.

Here you can keep track of colleges you are interested in, rate your level of interest, view upcoming application deadlines, and transfer schools from Colleges I’m Thinking About, to Colleges I’m Applying to. You can also research other colleges and scholarship opportunities.

Click on About Me to access other important inventories and surveys. Click Here to begin your resume. This can be accessed by your teachers and counselors to use when writing personalized letters of recommendation.

Read and review the MBTI Power Point – This will help you to better understand the results of your personality type assessment. Complete the Personality Type Inventory – Using the Naviance Orientation power point, navigate your way to the Family Connections portal and log in. Once you are logged in locate the careers tab and select the personality type assessment and complete the survey. Identify possible careers and colleges – Once you have finished the personality type assessment, identify 5 or more careers in which you have an interest. Add these to your list of favorite careers and clusters. – Identify 5 or more potential colleges in which you have an interest and add them to your list of colleges that you are thinking about. Lastly – Journal Entry – Find and select the tab all “About Me” – Next find the “Journal” link – Once you have found the link and selected it add a new journal entry and in the subject line title it as Personality Type Assessment Reaction – Share this entry with your counselors, teachers, and parents. – Now write an essay reacting to the results of your Personality Type Assessment.
