Mission Control  After getting the run down in the Briefing room half of our team was assigned to Mission Control where they would work the first half of the mission. The two chosen from the probe team to be in mission control first were Brandon and Josh. While they were here they had an assigned area to instruct the team in the space station. They read off task cards through a headset with Brad and Eli who were in the station building the probe.

Mission Control  While they read task cards to the other half of the team. They could check the stations progress on the probe with a camera they had set up. After about 45 minutes Alarms began to ring and an unidentified object had been sighted and the space station was told to be evacuated. The space station workers rode the rocket simulator back down to earth.

The Space Station  After we thought the mission had failed because we were trying to rendezvous with Comet Encke. We hadn’t found that comet. We had discovered a new one. We named it Comet Rebels. So we re-launched the mission and the other half of the team was sent up to the space station. In the Space Station the two teammates that were up there were sent to the clean room where all the supplies for building the probe laid. We got another briefing from the commander before we were allowed to continue work.

Space Station  They put on there white lab coats for the clean room. One worker sat down at the computer screen and the other opened the airlock chamber to receive instructions from mission to build the probe. We successfully built the probe and launched it to rendezvous with Comet Rebels.
