VIEWING SLIDE LAYOUT Click on INSERT Click on NEW SLIDE (the task pane window will show the slide layouts) Explore the different slide layouts
INSERTING SLIDES Select a slide on the slide layout Click the drop-down menu Click INSERT NEW SLIDE
INSERTING WORDART Click INSERT Point to PICTURE Click WORDART Select a WORDART Then click OK
EDITING WORDART Type your text on the text area (You can format it using the formatting area) Click OK
INSERTING TEXTBOX Click on INSERT Click on TEXTBOX (drag your cursor on your presentation window to create a textbox) Then enter your text
INSERTING GRAPHICS Click on INSERT Point to PICTURE Click on CLIPART Click on CLIP ORGANIZER - OR – Type the name of the graphics you need on the SEARCH BOX, then SEARCH
FORMATTING SLIDE DESIGN Click on FORMAT Click on SLIDE DESIGN (the task pane will show the different slide design) Choose a DESIGN Click the drop-down menu Select an OPTION
FORMATTING BACKGROUND Click on FORMAT Click on BACKGROUND Click the DROP-DOWN MENU on the blank text box Click FILL EFFECTS

GRADIENT TAB BUTTON Choose the desired type of gradient One Color – choose only one color Two Colors – combine two colors Preset – choose a combine colors provided by the computer Choose the desired type of gradient Choose a SHADING STYLE Select a VARIANT Click OK DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF SHADES SHADING STYLES

ADDING EFFECTS Select an object on your slide Click ADD EFFECTS Point to ENTRANCE Click MORE EFFECTS Select your desired EFFECT Then click OK
MODIFYING EFFECTS Select “On Click” on the start box Choose the SPEED you want
ADDING SOUNDS Click the DROP-DOWN ARROW Click EFFECTS OPTIONS Select a SOUND EFFECT (click the drop-arrow to see other sound option) Click OK
SLIDE TRANSITION Choose a TRANSITION Select SPEED Select a SOUND EFFECT Choose if you want to make it “ON MOUSE CLICK” or “AUTOMATIC” Click APPLY TO ALL SLIDES (click the drop-down arrow to see other options)
