TS4 – detector’s activities 1/5 11/12/12 TC meeting DetectorActivity SPDPressure test on the old inlet lines. -Nitrogen bottle connected with a manifold that feeds the 10 inlet connections at the plant while the other side of the pipe (PP4) will be closed with 10 caps. The pressure (10b) will be kept for several hours in order to identify possible leaks checking the leak rate with a digital pressure manometer. Cleaning of filters in PP3 of sectors 0, 1, 2, 3 and 8. -Start on Monday morning. Cleaning by vacuum pump. Need to access PP4 several times every day. -If on Friday morning (21 st Dec) the cleaning process is not satisfactory  will leave the cleaning machine on until Friday 4 th Jan when will disconnect it and restart the cooling loops. Drilling of the filter in PP3 of sector 3 (tbc). -Access to PP4 and PP1 to install the manometers and equipment necessary for the PP3 filter's drilling of sector 3. Filters replacement in PP4. TS4 – detector’s activities 2/5 11/12/12 TC meeting DetectorActivity SSDReplace 7 CAEN LV boards with modified ones TPCWk 51: install TPC upgrade prototype (IROC + drift box) in the miniframe. Wk 52-1: intervene in the cavern if needed, in particular for gas leaks, if any. -The prototype is an aluminum box (typical dimension 50 cm) flushed with the TPC gas and instrumented with HV and 1-2 readout channels (with LV). -HV, LV and a scope will be installed in one rack (A15 or so) -The cables are already pulled. Laser: the work will be done in the laser hut with or without the L3 magnet on. Time needed: 2 times 1/2 day of access. Wednesday 19th: -Laser2: repair hardware error: replace flash lamp or top up secondary cooling water -Laser1: improve the energy output by replacing some mirrors. Depending on the outcome of the survey: -tightening of problematic LV connections. -adding of patch cables for problematic connections. Tue or Wed (1h): check connector for the LV supplies in rack I26 Tue (few hours): help EN-CV to leak tests on the TRD cooling system. Tue (2h): connect the GTU DCS boards to ethernet multiplexer setup in rack C19 install backup trigger fiber from pretrigger (bottom of L3) to sectors 02 and 03 (C-side).
