DIRECTIONS Use this template to create your final presentation for EDU 696: Pedagogy and the Power of Place Please feel free to adapt the template for your own purposes. – Using Power Point is not required, but creating a visual component of your presentation is a requirement. These are guiding questions. DO NOT simply answer the questions written on each slide…. Put your responses into your own words.

GUIDELINES Each participant should give a brief 5-8minute overview of their work on the curricular unit thus far. Participants should use the Power Point template provided on the Power of Place website (or some other visual element they create), to structure their presentations. Everyone will receive both verbal and written feedback on their draft curricular units from their peers and the course instructors. Length – – Individual presentations will be 5 – 8 minutes – Feedback after the presentations will be 10 minutes Platform – – Power Point template (or other visual representation) – Please bring your presentations on a flash drive Contents – Use the template in the following slides to drive the content that is included in your presentation.

Methods of Inquiry How will students interrogate the sources? What historical and pedagogical methodologies will you use? How will the methods help students think historically? How will these methods help students learn to think critically and/or deeply analyze the source? In what ways do these methods reflect a high caliber of rigor?
