Linda’s main role is directing International Child Care Ministries for the DRC, where more than 3,000 children are sponsored. Linda continues to serve as a link between the FMC in the DRC, the North American FMC and various aid and United Nations organizations. Part of this responsibility includes advising Free Methodist DRC health ministries. Linda Stryker Missionary to Africa/Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

In spite of the ongoing war, which has caused extreme poverty and the displacement of tens of thousands of people within the country, the Nundu Deaconess Hospital, nursing school and some 40 health centres continue to function to some degree, thanks to courageous efforts of Congolese staff and ongoing support of donors. PLEASE PRAY FOR … We are still seeking the best way to make a significant spiritual impact on the lives of children sponsored through International Child Care Ministries. Refugees continue to return from Tanzania. They have nothing. Theirhomes no longer exist. Sometimes their property has been taken by others. The DRC has changed dramatically during the past 11.5 years they were in refugee camps.
