Were They Came From. The puritans were originally from england. They were all against the beliefs of the church under King George the first. Said that the church of England had man- made Doctrine (bible teachings). Formed colonies of only puritan people from.html

Beliefs. Believed that the bible was God’s word. Bible provided a plan so that people may live there life correct before God. Desired to purify the church and their own lives.Claimed to believed in rejecting worldly activities (societies way of doing things) r/www7/puritans.html

Their Purpose. The puritans came to America to search for religious freedom.. About 21,000 of them came to Massachusetts Bay Colony and later formed the Congregational Church.. The main purpose of the puritans moving to North America was to find religious freedom and purify the church.

Handling Problems in the community. Those who were seen as one not doing God’s work, were punish. Action forbiden were adultry, miss church, speak against the church or dotrine. Punishments were execution, wipping and some were sat in public square and were spate and laughed at
