What a Tsunami!

Japan earthquake On March 11, 2011, an earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, churning up a devastating tsunami that swept over cities and farmland in the northern part of the country and set off warnings as far away the west coast of the United States and South America.

Lest here what Yabukibro says: Yabukibro says when the shaking first started he thought that it was just another standard aftershock. But Yabukibro realized that something was wrong once the shaking did not stop. 'Suddenly, it starting getting a lot worse than I've ever felt and I thought, okay, I really need to go outside. This is bad.‘ Yabukibro says he is ok, but everything now feels very eerie. 'I'm still shaking,' he says.

The tsunami waves of up to 37.9 meters (124 ft) that struck Japan minutes after the quake, in some cases traveling up to 10 km (6 mi) inland, with smaller waves reaching many other countries after several hours. Tsunami warnings were issued and evacuations ordered along Japan's Pacific coast and at least 20 other countries, including the entire Pacific coast of the Americas

Here is a map of where the tsunami was…….

Oh no what a earthquake!

Thanks for watching!!!!
