Tsunami Problem By, Suzuna Yukimori

Summary In 2011, really big earthquake (Aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami) happened in Japan. At that time, a lot of people(18617people) passed away. But almost of them passed away, because of the tsunami, not only the earthquake. And, tsunamis make recovering later and later. So, tsunamis have no advantages.

How Does this Problem Affect Us? Tsunamis kill a lot of people. And, sometimes people lose their things that the most important things for them, their jobs, friends, jobs and so on. In addition tsunami makes the reconstruction later and later.

Solutions ・ Prepare well for when tsunamis come. Ex) To put an electric torch, emergency food and so on in a backpack. ・Check the place where we will escape when tsunamis come. (We should go to high place, such as the roof of high building)

Statistics The causes of death at Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami As you can see, almost of them dead, because of the tsunami.

Possible Solutions When tsunamis come, we have to bring phone, radio and so on to get new and right information. Because if we do not have any information, we do not know where the safe places are. If a big earth quake occurs, prepare to escape as fast as you can. To make a big and high bund. Even if you feel safe, you should escape.

What Will be the Result if This Problem ISN’T solved soon? More people will be dead, because of tsunamis. After Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, a lot of fisherman lost their jobs, because their fish boats were driven. So fisherman will be less.
