This is The top layer of the Rainforest. The tallest trees can be found here.

What is the Emergent Layer

This layer is very dark. Fungi and moss grow here

What is the Forest Floor

This layer of the Rainforest is home to animals such as Sloths and Howler Monkeys. They can be found “just hanging around.”

What is the canopy

This layer of the Rainforest sees the most sunlight of all the layers.

What is the Emergent layer

This layer is just underneath the Rainforest “umbrella.” It extends from the Forest Floor to the base of the Canopy

This plant is the biggest in the whole world. It can grow to be over 1 meter in diameter

This is the World’s largest grass. It is native to many parts of the world.
