Safe use of equipment and vehicles Discuss safety issues when using equipment or driving company vehicles Licence requirements Insurance arrangements Advise of any further training that is available

Accident procedures What to do in the event of an accident or emergency Reporting procedures Who to contact

First aid facilities Advise of location of first aid boxes/ rooms Where a list of trained first aid personnel can be found

Fire drills and alarms Briefly describe smoke detection / alarm system(s) in use What to do in the event of an alarm Location(s) of alarm activation point(s) Location(s) of assembly point(s)

Fire extinguishers Describe location of fire extinguishers, fire blankets etc. How and when to use the various types

Fire exits Describe the location of fire exits and their signage Provide guidance on when not to use lifts etc. Refer to the importance of keeping exits clear of obstructions
