Classroom Rules and Practices

General Rules Do not play with faucets or gas valves Must ask permission to leave class No CHEATING (see handbook) Do not play with faucets or gas valves

Extra Credit Vocabulary at end of chapter Must be done prior to test Number of bonus points possible is directly proportional to number of terms

More fire safety… Point test tube away from yourself and others when heating. Never heat a chemical in a closed container. Do not grab hot glassware without the aid of tongs or clamps.

Chemicals Do not touch taste or smell a chemical. Always pour acid into water never water into acid.

Always clean up lab area when finished.
