O I’m born in Canada and I’m Chinese. O My dad side and mom side are both Chinese. O Me and my family celebrate events( New Year’s, Moon cake day, etc.). O During celebration we hand out red envelopes with money. O We got to restaurants and watch events during celebration. O I don’t speak Mandarin, but a different language in china ( The Chu). O Living with a Chinese background I speak many language in China( The Chu, Vietnamese, Cantonese and a bit of Mandarin). O I enjoy many Chinese foods and drink like bubble tea. O I’m a dragon in the Chinese Zodiac.

O Clothing is usually called a Hanfu in China O It is a traditional dress that is always wore with lotus shoes O Wearing a traditional dress men and women look wealthy O It can be wore with many types of colours O If wearing a red Hanfu it is consider to be good luck O Today we wear it for traditional matter O It is a sign of respect and how to be consider rich wearing a Hanfu O They are mostly wore by wealthy noblemen and rich women in old days O Men worn Changshan and women worn Qipao

Foods - Chinese culture was soon spread around the world - They made dishes like dim sum which most of us like to eat today - They made wheat noodle which was suppose to be bread - They made many types of meat dishes to eat (Beef, duck,chicken and etc.) - One of the most favourite cuisine in the world is Cantonese cuisine - These cuisine are mostly overflow with many spices - Chinese culture make there our food from scratch - They find basic methods of cooking very useful - Desserts are made by sweet soup and custard - They add things like sugar cane, red bean, honey etc. - For what we know we Canadian mostly find these food weird, but should try (IT’S GOOOD)

Sports O Chinese are really competitive with sports O They are mostly in most Olympics O Football are really popular in China O There are more popular sport like Tennis, Badminton and ping pong O China won in the Olympic in Beijing in 2008 O They say that the reason why they won was the lucky number 8 O Dragon boat (2000) is always held in China as a traditional event O China trains talented kids into athlete professional O Amateur’s popular sports were table tennis, badminton and martial arts

Languages O China has many languages O Mostly when going to China the first languages is always Mandarin O Many Chinese people speak a certain dialect or native language O There is about 7 to 13 groups of main regional Chinese languages O Traditionally they write the family last name in a paper O There common languages is Cantonese, Mandarin and Tawanese O The least speaking language is Pinghua which is about 0.4% of China population O My languages are Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese and a dialect language O Today people in school that I know today mostly speak my dialect language O It tells me that this may be the most common dialect language

Arts O Chinese arts are ancient and old looking O China make certain pottery and sculpture O These arts are made for people who live in dynasty O Making decorative arts are very important to Chinese culture O Arts are usually made in factories and company O Most arts are made by ink wash painting O Artists makes landscapes, birds and flower O Artists used there imaginations or a scenery for art O China most best artistic arts are ceramics textiles O For decades China is now worldwide in the fine arts
