Presentation transcript:

When demands for multi-room high-speed connectivity reach The popular choice will be between Wi-Fi or PLC – depending on practical issues to be overcome! Two groups of transfer-conduits will remain: 1.High-cost, niche-segment (fixed & wired cables) – Co-ax or fiber-optics / Ethernet LAN 2.Less-hassle, low-cost connectivity (no new-cables) – Wi-Fi – No-wires but speed & coverage might be issues Power Line (PLC) – no new-wires needed but promised speed might not be delivered, unless ……….. 100million (worth USD7billion) a year for In-Home Network, will you be ready?

PLC-issues can be overcome: These inherent problems, that used to hinder high- speed PLC, can now be overcome: 1.Real-life connection-rate could not come near the theoretical-rate of 200Mbps, for example; 2.Lightning-protection could not be added, but danger from surges carried via power-line to the equipment & users are increasingly real threats, with global warming! 3.Each adapter could not share one power outlet with noise-generating, interconnected equipment, such as PC; 4.Noise-generating equipment - sharing same power outlet or elsewhere, would cause connection-rate to suffer when turned ON. Do they ring a bell? No need to worry! PLC-CLLI from CAL-LAB can solve all these!

Why is PLC an obvious choice? LAN cables – messy and troublesome. Coaxial or fiber-optics cables – costly and messy. WIFI – good for outdoors & open-spaces but many issues (speed, consistency, health, etc) remain Obvious choice : PLC – fast and easy setup when added with Cal-Lab’s performance enhancement PLC-CLLI – in worst-case scenario simulation tests, a pair of HomePlug AV-200Mbps adapters had connection-rates of less than 30Mbps (before adding PLC-CLLI) improved to more than 150Mbps, when PLC-CLLI were added. (Details available by request or in )

PLC-CLLI - why as an add-on*? Adding PLC-CLLI to existing PLC-adapters & interconnected equipment enables low-cost 200Mbps-adapters to perform at their best and yet when lightning strikes, only the PLC-CLLI will be damaged! 1.Without adding PLC-CLLI – PLC-adapters could not consistently deliver close to theoretical-speed; 2.Without adding PLC-CLLI – PLC-adapters & connected- equipment in a setup could not be protected from lightning, which is increasingly threatening due to global warming; 3.Without adding PLC-CLLI – PLC-adapters & connected- equipment in a setup could not share one power-outlet. 4.Without adding PLC-CLLI, chances of having to face adapters being returned for refund were very high! *(As add-on devices, PLC-CLLI will serve as low-cost & easily-restored solutions, when damaged by lightning!)

What new opportunities? Safe & realistic projections**: (Based on 50million PLC-adapters a year) PLC-adapter prices will be halved – boosting sales value worth USD1.5Billion* a year; PLC-CLLI worth USD1Billion** a year will be bundled with PLC-adapter sales; PLC (bundled with add-on PLC-CLLI) will become the medium of choice! Other media may remain as niche-markets. **These are only possible when add-on PLC-CLLI are bundled with PLC- adapters, resulting in high-speed connectivity while keeping all connected equipment safe from lightning! New reality**: Now, 150Mbps is easily achievable with currently available 200Mbps-adapters!

Who else will benefit? 3 categories of people WILL benefit financially: 1.The first manufacturer to flood the world with a standard, worldwide version, of mass-produced PLC-adapters will benefit financially, leaving those who cater to niche markets way behind. 2.Distributors who flood the world market with low-cost PLC- adapters bundled with PLC-CLLI will also benefit financially and boost profit without facing much adapters being returned for refund! 3.Manufacturers who have the capability to manufacture and bundle both PLC adapters & PLC-CLLI, will also benefit financially and boost sales without facing much adapters being returned for refund! Are you one of those?

Contact us at or Let’s keep the PLC-dreams alive & flourishing! Thank you! THE END
