Second Grade Lesson 24 Vocabulary and Definitions

If something is blended, it is mixed together so that no one can tell there are separate parts.

If you cradled something, you held it closely as if you were taking care of it.

When something looks raggedy, it looks rough and torn at the edges.

Something that is at a distance is not close.

People’s personalities are made up of all the ways they act, think, and feel that make them special

If you crumpled something, you gently crushed it or bunched it up.

If something is extinct it is no longer living on earth.

If you make a pledge you make a promise.

Something that is boring and takes a long time to do, is tedious.

If you can wait a long time without complaining or getting restless you have patience.
