Photographers take pictures of various objects, using different cameras and adjusting lights to get the best shots they can.

Education/Training You don’t need to take any college courses or have much prior experience, most places will provide you with on the job training.

Salary Photographers make about $38,200 per year. It depends on where you live and if you work for a business or on your own.

Attributes and Abilities You have to be able to take a decent picture with a steady hand, know how to adjust the picture with natural or artificial light, and maintain a portfolio with all of your work in it.

Job Outlook The job growth expectancy of photographers is likely to increase by 20% in the next ten years (as of 2011).

Duties of a Photographer You’re supposed to be able to advertise for yourself and/or for your company. Adjust the lighting of a picture and make it look better. Use various filters to increase the quality of a photo
