Characteristics Lynx are brown or they can be gray with light black spots. It has very big ears with tufts at the ends. Lynx have long legs and have big paws at the end.Its tail is short and has a black tip at the ends on its tail.

Habitat Lynx live deep in coniferous forests. The coniferous forest is full of pine tree and coniferous trees and lots more trees. Lynx live near rocky areas, bogs and swamps.

Range The Lynx’s range extends over most of Alaska and the south part of Washington, Oregon, Montana,Canada and Idaho.

Diet About 75% percent of the Lynx’s diet is made up of snowshoe hare. It eats meadow voles and birds,carrion and sometimes larger animals like deer our caribou.

Life Cycle Lynx mate between February and March. They have up to one to six babies. When the babies come out they hunt with there mother and then when are all grownup they haut buy there self.

Behavior Lynx are solitary and territorial. When the females ranges overlap the males ranges. A females ranges may overlap but the males ranges are separated.
