An Opossums Wildlife. Sometimes an opossum meets a predator. It shows its 50 teeth to scare the predator away. An opossums eat plants, fruits, insects, and mice. They also eat eggs and snails.

Cutie Furry Animals. A female opossum when they have babies they have to carry them in a pouch.

Where My Creature Lives. Opossum lives in cities, grassland and a forest. It gets a lot of food that they want to eat from the places where they live. They like to be by water.

How Not to Get Eaten. The opossum have hide during the day so the don’t get eaten.

How Not To Get Killed By a Predator. To get away they show their 50 teeth to scare it away. They also have to stay safe and they look for food at night. They also have to hide during the day.

What The Opossum Eats. They eat birds, baby birds, eggs, frogs, lizards, snakes, and small rabbits also are parts of their diet.

Meeting an opossum. The term “playing possum” comes from an animal called an opossum. An opossum pretends to be dead if it is cornered by a predator. It rolls over, shuts its eyes, and sticks out its tongue.
