Food Chain What is the main energy source of all living things? How do energy flows through a food chain? What is the Food chain of an animal in Australia?

What is the main energy source? The main energy source is Sun Production of highly energetic molecules like ATP Main end product for plants and animals. Molecules gives energy to allow plants and animals to do work. Plants : it’s energy producer are called chloroplast; collect energy from the sun using CO2 with water called photosynthesis to produce sugars Animals : use sugars for their own cellular energy factories, mitochondria; it’s form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)

How do energy flows through a food chain? Energy flows through a one-way stream. Which is transferred by organism eating and being eaten.

Food Chain -Kookaburra- Sun Grass Mouse GrasshopperSmall Snake Kookaburra Kookaburra eat large insects and small animals such as frogs, snakes, and small mammals. producer Source First-order consumer Second-order consumer Predator

Nitrogen and Carbon Cycle What is a Nitrogen and Carbon Cycle in Australia?

Nitrogen Cycle The Nitrogen Cycle in Australia is functioning in the famous Swan River. The nitrogen cycle includes animal wastes, decomposing plant and animal matter, and agricultural fertilizers. The Nitrogen cycling in the estuary of Swan River can be recycled many times in an estuary before it is flushed out to sea or returned to the atmosphere. Aquatic plants and algae take up simple inorganic nitrogen (ammonia, nitrate) and assimilate it into complex organic molecules such as proteins. Organic nitrogen is then transported through estuary food chains as plants are eaten by herbivores, herbivores by carnivores and so on.
