Lessons learned Don’t make assumptions about people based on age cohort characteristics Treat people as individuals There are common needs and preferences but appetites for them can vary

Millennials (Gen Y) Gen Z The connected generation…

Issues to think about People value working with others of different ages – they see more benefits – especially knowledge sharing - than problems Age is not seen as important – it is the different values that can cause problems Not all conflict is bad – some stimulates creativity and innovation Appetites for different provisions vary but all are valued

Many values and priorities are shared across age groups but there is a strong link between life- stage and working experience on work priorities
