Group Project Spaces… More Group Study 18 group study areas added to Milne, plus an Imaginarium And more to add because we get about 4,000 visitors per day. We also made Fraser Study Center more conducive to group study.

Writing & Learning Center Welles Writing Center is moving in with the Milne Writing & Learning Center January 2012 Increased space needs in Milne Library

Getting It System Toolkit (IDS Request) Services Google Books ~20+ million items Hathi Trust 2.6 million free public domain eBooks & Internet Archive, Project Gutenberg, and more services… Services Google Books ~20+ million items Hathi Trust 2.6 million free public domain eBooks & Internet Archive, Project Gutenberg, and more services…

GIST Gifts & Deselection Manager GIST is also used to streamline Gift Management and evaluate collections; in roughly 13 months, we processed over 4K donated books and DVDs, accepting about 700 items or roughly $49K worth of acquisitions. This helps – we borrow thousands of books, yet Milne has also doubled the number of purchased books in the last couple of years. GIST can also be used to evaluate the duplication of collections and check for full text options.. GIST tools are distributed to libraries through the IDS Project.
