Task2a (Video Capturing/Editing)  Create folder D:\Media in local computer  Connect DV to your computer via IEEE1394 link  Open Windows Movie Maker  Capture video to D:\Media  Drag video clip to time-line after capturing  Trim the video-clip to a sensible video (about 2 mins)

Task2b (Video Compression)  Within Movie Maker  Click Save to my computer  Select the appropriate video format you like to encode. E.g. Broadband (340kbps Resolution 320x240)

Sharing of your videos

Video Database ’ s major features  Video Vault: For categorizing, storing videos and supplementary documents, such as teaching plan, media files, etc. Unlimited number of videos, Max 100MB/video Accepted video formats: WMV, MPG and Quick Time Accepted audio formats: MP3 and WMA  Transaction Bin: Deliver videos from database administrator Users can form communities and share videos amount community members. Sharing feedback and comment about particular video segments among peers.
