Annie’s Birth Annie was born August 13 th, 1860 in Dhark County, Ohio.

Annie breaks a rule to put food on the table by picking up her father’s gun in 1869.

In 1871, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Annie went up against famous sharpshooter Francis A. Butler in 1876 on Thanksgiving Day

Marriage! In 1877, Annie and Frank get married.

Superstar! In 1885, she joins Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.

War Time! She offers the armed forces 50 lady sharpshooters to go to war.

In 1901, she got paralyzed in a train wreck.

In 1910, she joins another show called The Western Girl.

In 1913, she quit her on the road career living in a backstage tent to retire.

On November 3 rd, 1926, she died in her sleep in Greenville, Ohio.
