Note: All Nomcom members are bound by the confidentiality rules including: - Chair, - Chair Advisor, - Liaisons, - Tool Advisor, - Voting Members

Major Milestones NomCom 2010 has 3 major components Selection and organization of the members –Began June 8 with Call for Volunteers –will finish by mid-August Selection of candidates –Plan August start with Call for Nominees –Candidate names sent to the confirming body no later than 26 January The Confirmation of Candidates –Finishes no later than 25 February Detailed schedule coming soon

Open List New for this NomCom Nominees (who accept) are publicly listed Call for nominations will begin in August Feedback will not be made public NomCom members remain bound by the confidentiality rules in RFC 3777

A few words on … Nominations (with open list) –Nominee list is public this year –Lists only the nominees who accept nomination –It is an Honor to be nominated and listed Feedback –Remains confidential even with open list –Feedback is very helpful to the NomCom –Feedback should be concise and give specifics –Feedback is verified –Lobbying is not feedback; it will not be tolerated
