Required filtration efficiency depends on application, expected fuel contamination and required life time (see following slides). For specific values see corresponding TCI  In the meantime the standard ISO/TS 13353:2002 has become valid. Main difference to the pre-standard is the calibration procedure  (ISO instead ISO 4402). This requires an adaptation of the present values. The correlation is presently under preparation.  The International Standard Organization is working on a new multi- pass method (ISO/DIS 19438) which should substitute ISO/TS in a few years
