What is mechatronics? mecha tronics mechanical engineering electrical engineering information technology

Issues market demand is much greater than supply current expert workers do not use the all the potential market interest for vocational trainings in electronic control systems needs for time, cost and location efficient training

Target groups Primary group formal studies in mechanical or electrical engineering workers in the production processes, where mechanical devices are handled by electronic control systems Potencial users employed or unemployed requalification providing necessary theoretical and practical knowledge

Aims of the project to introduce good practices from abroad into the vocational mechatronics training field to support the content with advanced IT and established didactical approaches to improve quality and efficiency of vocational training to increase recognition and attractiveness of the profession to positively influence the gap between supply and demand of mechatronic staff on the market

Objectives To research and analyse the market needs To transfer and establish a remote laboratory To adjust and translate virtual learning environment To create multimedia-interactive e- learning contents To deliver 40-hour pilot training of at least 20 participants To disseminate the project results To enable sustainability of the project results
