We have two new committee heads for this committee. They are Julissa Rivera and Sera Sage! If you want to join this committee, please speak with them or Meredith! We will not be having a meeting next week due to finals. Our next committee meeting will be January 9 th after school in Mrs. Taylor’s room! Thank you to everyone that brought food for our holiday feast today! We really appreciate your help! Our holiday feast after this meeting will include good food, an ugly sweater contest, and a movie, so make sure you stay if you want to participate!
You will need 20 participation hours a year in order to get a cord! The due date for these hours will be determined. Please talk to Lauren after this meeting if you have any questions. Next semester, there will be sign-in sheets at each individual event to make it easier to keep track of your hours!
The Boyd Invitational will be after our chapter meeting on January 22 nd ! This is a chance for STAR Event and FSCA participants to practice before the Regional Conference in February. If you would like to participate, please stay after this meeting to discuss your involvement! It will cost $10 a person. We need people to volunteer to be time keepers, bring food, judge presentations, etc.
The 8 th grade dance will be on January 23 rd from 6-8:30 P.M! Thank you to everyone that helped us out with painting the posters! We would like to get started on decorations as soon as possible, so if you would like to be a part of the committee, please come talk to Meredith after this meeting!
If you would like to participate on the fashion show committee, please talk to Lauren after this meeting if you would like to be involved! We need all hands on deck! The fashion show will be in early May.
We need your help!!! If you are interested in being a part of the connection team, which simply involves taking pictures during our region meeting and getting them back to Savannah so she can put the slide show together, then sign up!! We will also be taking any articles advocating FCCLA to be submitted to the FCCLA Magazine and website! Let Savannah know if you’re interested!
