What is Gateway Sweden? A Customs declaration service using SMS allowing Automatic identification of the vehicleAutomatic identification of the vehicle Verification of the border crossingVerification of the border crossing

Why Gateway Sweden? To simplify and speed up clearance procedures related to border crossing

How does it work? 1.When the transport pass the border, a signal goes from the phone to the operator. 2.The operator send a SMS to the phone to verify the positioning 3.Swedish Customs web interface automatically updates with the information, and is visible for the Customs Officer and the certified company.

How does it work? 4.The driver receives a message saying that the cargo has been cleared, with a reference number if the truck is stopped for checking. 5.The submitted SMS contains a Unique Customs Identification number (UCI). 6.The UCI is checked through a web application
