70 CM REPEATER CONFIGURATIONS  Steve and Loren (mostly Steve) have finished repeater configs  Machine is running in “Pilot Mode” at Steve's Lab location  Antenna is low to the ground, 40 feet but in hills  Hams who can reach it are welcome to try it out under those conditions  Preparations for Antenna placements are underway  Project WBS is being constructed  EOC has cleared antenna placement by BCRO (details to follow)  Questions?

VOTE FOR ANTENNA PURCHASE  The Business committee has decided on Spectral Isopole 70cm  IsoPole Uhf 435 $ plus $39.99 Shipping list price (30 day TA)   Antenna has good Eham reviews of 4.5+  We have a member who has had one for 15+ years installed  Has experienced NO problem with construction or weather  This antenna should last on tower for 3+ years without adjustment  There is a hard set date to check when tower at site replaced in 2 years  We need a vote to purchase this antenna plus parts  Mounting hardware around $ (cable run clamps, unistrut standoffs)  Estimated total to be $ to $ total  Need a vote for $ CAP

PRESIDENTS AWARDS FOR VOLUNTEERS  President – I am catching up on these volunteer awards  They come from my inspiration, creation and are unique.  They are gifts to Volunteers from me  No club funds are used whatsoever!  They are Thank yous for your participation for helping the club have participation in events we decide on.  Started out Event related, but may expand  Depending on the ## numbers!!!  (If I missed some one, tell me)

NEW BUSINESS - NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR BOY SCOUTS JAMBOREE ON THE AIR – NEED HELP!  KD5UFY (Ken Farmer) called for help from BCRO 10/1  Campout Oct 17 th  Jamboree On the Air  9am to 5pm  Motley Road in Vaughn  or  No Power need batteries and canopy  Need at least 2 volunteers with Radio and antennas  Need another volunteer to “standby” for HF radio calls if needed  PLEASE VOLUNTEER!! THIS CREATES NEW HAMS

NEW BUSINESS – EOC VISIT RECAP  BCRO met with the EOC Directors on Oct 2 in Bentonville  From the EOC:  Mike Dixon, Director  Kate Anderson, Deputy Director  From BCRO:  Steve Werner  Paul Blomgren, Jr.  Mel Hagen  It was a very good meeting…Let Mel Explain

NEED 3 VOLUNTEERS FOR EOC COMMITTEE  Committee Proposed Purposes: 1. Check on equipment at EOC, configure, test HAM equipment 2. Help coordinate a “crash” book for operators 3. Help with RACES application process (helping them through) 1. (Hands on approach will help, too many changes in place there) 4. Create and participate in Drills and simulated disasters 1. Every 90 days is requested 5. Create and manage standing list of EOC Net Control people to call for 1. Going to the EOC when needed  It is in the clubs foremost interest to keep close relations to the county EOC  This needs to be a committee of several to help be in touch with the EOC and needs back to the club  Should give EOC committee updates in club meetings as needed
