Research and Development Interests  Development and maintenance of the MPJ Express software: –First released in September 2005 under LGPL (an open-source licence): Growing number of users around the world –The Johns Hopkins University, California Berkeley, MIT, Lawrence Livermore National Lab, Oak Ridge National Lab  Parallel programming models for “many-core” processors: –Moore’s law is now realized with increasing number of cores –Very soon, every programmer will be a parallel programmer –I am interested in programming models, runtime libraries, frameworks for these next-generation processors  Java Card Development for the Telco sector: –Applications run mobile phone’s SIM card –Potential for implementing and managing Value Added Services (VAS) 3
