Career Cruising Complete “Career Cruising” portion of handout.  From the HS website, click on Career Cruising on the right of the screen or  Username: LKT (student ID#)  Password: MMDDYYYY (Student DOB)  Create a Portfolio – please include your address (you will not be spammed!)  Explore Assessments  Learning Styles Inventory – 20 Qs  Career Matchmaker – 39 Qs  Complete – My Skills – 45 Qs  Click three of the careers that interest you  List the name, education needed, salary, skills

Reality Check Complete “Reality Check” portion of handout.  Go to  Click on option 1: Reality Check  Where do you want to live? Select a city  Identify average costs for different services in that area, including:  Housing, utilities, food, transportation, clothes, health care, entertainment, personal upkeep, miscellaneous, and savings  Then select “Find Careers that match the salary”  Write down 2 or 3 careers that match the salary you want and add to handout

Career Path Complete “Career Path” portion of handout.  Go to  Complete the “Your Free Career” test  52 questions  Record the top 2 best occupational careers on your handout

Own It! What is a “safety” school you can identify?
