Presentation transcript:

Remain Conscious & Alert Eyes remain open, Head remains up, Look at screen, Sit up, no lying down.

Remain Quiet Avoid talking or verbally responding to what happens in the film.

Be aware that there are other people around you and they want to hear the movie – not your responses to it.

Questions, Comments…. Feel free to ask questions, raise your hand to do so. The teacher will talk take your question quietly. If it is something worth sharing, the film will be paused and we’ll discuss as a whole. This will not occur often.

Keep Thinking! Thinking is expected – mentally connect the video with what we are studying. Our goal is to learn – just as you would from a book. It’s a more enjoyable way to learn but the goal is your education. It may be fun for you as well but keep the goal in mind.

Concentrate on the movie & allow others to as well. Tapping, handling papers, etc. distract others’ concentration.

Remarks? Keep your remarks to yourself. Be respectful to our class as a whole to keep a safe and friendly work environment.

Pack up to leave when video is stopped, not before. Packing up before we stop ruins the mood of the moment. Rest assured you will be dismissed at the best moment to pause our viewing experience.

Please remain quiet. You are NOT the only person in the room. Be considerate or be gone!

It is hoped that you enjoy learning in this way but remember that the purpose is your education, not your entertainment. If you are not successful in following these guidelines and interfere with the learning of the students in this class, you will be provided an alternate assignment.

Using good audience skills improves the experience for ALL members of the audience.
