WHAT DO YOU KNOW ALREADY? The Roman Empire

Some background information Existed from 27 BC to 476 AD (although actually much longer before that) Controlled 6,500,000 square km of land at its largest point Brought ideas of law, government and most importantly roads to much of Europe Spoke Greek and Latin A typical Roman aqueduct (these dudes knew how to build stuff well)

Everyone who wasn’t a Roman was NO GOOD Many things led to the fall of the Roman Empire, but most important was… The BARBARIANS Definition: anyone who did not speak Greek Tribes such as: Goths, Vandals, Huns Hadrian’s Wall was built in present- day England to keep the barbarians out.
