What is a print ad?

Rule 1 Attract Attention. Nothing else matters unless you can do this. Have a headline and visual element that makes people stop at your ad.

Rule 2 Appeal to the reader's interest or announce news. Take the "you" point of view and tells readers how they will benefit from your product or service.

Rule 3 Communicate your company's exclusive advantage. Answer the question: Why should the prospect pick your firm over a competitor's?

Rule 4 Prove your advantage. Use testimonials and statistics to convince your target audience.
