Setting the Targets American Student Achievement Institute ASAI

Student Group: Achievement Standard: Data Type: Trend Vertical Data Level: Broad Specific Entering Data Targets optional baseline current target target target Vision TargetActualTargetActualTargetActualTargetActualTargetActualTargetActual

7 Data Target Chart Format optional baseline current target target target Vision TargetActualTargetActualTargetActualTargetActualTargetActualTargetActual % of Freshmen Completers who Pass Algebra 1 ECA 100 n/a 47 Two Years Ago n/a 46 Last Year 51 This Year 56 Target 1 60 Target 2 64 Target 3 Vision

8 EXPECTATIONS Make data targets challenging, but realistic. Hold yourself accountable for reaching the data targets. No excuses. Whatever it takes. Avoid “feel good” data targets that make you feel good (or sound good), but there’s no way you can possible reach them.

Final Steps Steering Team will... 1.Enter the data targets online 2.Print data target charts 3.Share with the faculty, community and students.
