 Turn and share:  What has been the highlight of the year so far for you and your family?

 Our UIP is due to the district on Nov. 1 st, the major components are: ◦ Observation Feedback, focused on growth and support for teachers’ effectiveness ◦ Data Driven Instruction, focused on making decisions in the school and in the classroom based on what students understand and what they don’t understand ◦ Culture, focused on establishing and creating a positive culture for students, parents, and community as a whole

 We are creating an Innovation plan for Boston’s future. ◦ What can we do within our school to be more effective in helping our students’ academics? ◦ What will be our focus? ◦ We are visiting other schools in Denver and New York to get ideas of schools that are effective. ◦ The School Design Team will do the initial leg work and communicate information over the next few months.
