When the tradition started it wasn’t thought of to talk to people of lower classes. So, they wore masks in order to be able to discuss things with people of lower classes and not be recognized or looked down upon.
Revenge can be very dangerous. Most people often get mad something happens to them that they don’t like, so they often seek revenge. They think that once they have reached revenge that they will feel great and accomplished, but this is usually not the case. For example, in October 2005 five American troops were killed by Iraqi soldiers. The U.S. retaliated, they were seeking revenge and as a result of their anger they took off in planes and bombed a small Iraqi city that killed 20 civilians.
