Fairs, Feasts and Festivals (with some superstitions and witchcraft in there somewhere too) (maybe the odd bit of hanging) (and some torture)

In Elizabeth’s day, the Church was very important to the average poor Elizabethan. Shakespeare’s plays reflect the importance of religious festivals, feasts and fairs in the lives of ALL Elizabethans, even royalty.
