Reporter’s Duties Writing brief reports of club meetings and activities Write interesting news items Make a collection of all newspaper items referring to club Put together a picture/power point presentation/video of your club activities

What To Include Be sure you know WHO? WHAT? HOW? WHEN? WHERE? and WHY? Compose on a computer if you can, if not write as neatly as you can

Develop mailing list of local media Meet press deadlines Send news articles via if you can to ensure a quicker turn-a-round. Working With Media
