Arrival to School : * Students should arrive at 7:50 A.M. * Students that arrive after 8:20 A.M. are considered tardy.

Specials Monday- Music Tuesday- P.E. Wednesday- P.E. Thursday- Music Friday- P.E. Lunch: 11:35-12:05 Library:Mondays

Students are assigned math homework on Friday. It is due the following Friday. I will post the homework on my website every week. Students should be reading 20 minutes independently every night to increase fluency. Check agenda for additional homework assignments.

Parent Conference Day is November 6 Ms. Bertero and Mrs. Farrar will meet with each parent at the same time. Each conference will be for 20 minutes. Please sign up for a time before you leave tonight.

Bluebonnet There are 20 bluebonnet books that your child can choose from. Students must read 5 books in order to vote. When reading these books students must take notes of the author, illustrator, genre, and give a short summary.

Call for GT Referrals The GT referral window for K-11 is August 27th- September 28th. If you would like to refer your child for Klein ’ s Gifted and Talented Program, please stop by the front office and pick up a referral packet. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our counselor, Jennifer Matus at or our Assistant Principal, Sandra Speer at For more information you may also visit the KISD website.
