In the very beginning….  1911-father died  Began career as political cartoonist to support family  continued job and also as draftsmen

 Lived in U.S.- opportunities to paint in NYC and CA.  Left hand was blown off in explosion  Politically charged in his works.

The Muralist  After Mexican Revolutionary War, began muralist period.  Studied at same school as D. Rivera  First mural 1923
