 Arizona Height Modernization Project (AZHMP) began in 2006  Worked with NGS and the Arizona stakeholder community to determine the best ways to implement AZHMP in Arizona  Created an AZHMP Governance Board to help set direction  Began establishing the Arizona CORS (AZCORS) Network in 2006

 AZHMP continues to work with agencies and organizations to become partners in AZCORS  Partners benefit by being able to buy base stations and software using state contract (about half price)  Partners provide site, power and communications and maintain station  State hosts the base station on AZCORS server and pays for software licensing on server  Partners access all stations in AZCORS and NCORS

 AZCORS consists of 25 stations  189 registered users  AZHMP.ORG

 Continuing to manage and administer AZCORS server and base stations  Seeking new partners due to dwindling funds  Talks with organizations to assume ownership and administration of AZCORS to maintain:  Quality of AZCORS  Continuity of AZCORS  Growth of AZCORS

 Negotiating with Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to assume ownership of AZCORS  Initial interest for ADOT Photogrammetry Division  Additional interest from ADOT survey section, IT Division and Multimodal Planning Division  ADOT has committed to maintain and grow AZCORS  State Planning and Research funds used for AZCORS  IGA has been initiated – anticipated ADOT will assume ownership of AZCORS in December 2013
